The timely availability of safe and quality blood is a lifesaving decisive factor. Maintaining stable adequate supply has become huge challenge amidst COVID 19 pandemic, especially in developing countries like India. Impact this pandemic on transfusion services potential challenges faced are discussed the present study which helps planning acute shortage even future pandemics. 1. To know impact COVID-19 Blood bank service; 2. suggest strategy to tackle crisis disasters. : In six month’s data pertaining following, outbreak district was compared with that pre-COVID19 state. Donor attendance register, issue stock-component Voluntary donation camps, reagents consumables stock inventory records analyzed statistically. Mitigative measures adopted for smooth functioning services. During there drastic reduction total number voluntary donors visiting bank, cancellation decreased components discard rate increased.
